Interests: Hello! I love eating gummies and chocolate cake and brownies and...come to think of it, I like eating in general. ; D I like to run and swim and bike through pretty places. I'm wild about shoes and shopping. I like experiencing exciting things and going to exotic places. Law and Order (SVU) keeps me occupied and I'm in love with Jesus and Simba and Pumba, my cats. I enjoy reading and doing my nails and I play the trombone. Most of all I like to hang out with my friends and family.

My first post said that I would probably never write on xanga ever again. Now, almost two years later, my posts document many moments that are not significant to remember, but still enjoyable to read. So much has happened; I enjoyed starting from the beginning and reading till the end. Through the many typos, I was able to remember. But, obviously, I am not writing on this much anymore. No I do not have Facebook, Myspace, etc., nor will I get any of those. I just want to write a formal good-bye. This will sadly be my last post. Good-bye xanga. It has been fun. lol Love, Rachel

Okay, so, tomorrow, I am going to wake up and have to go to school...as a sophomore...for the last time ever!!! Yay! Last day of school. Woo hoo! How exciting. And so starts the good-byes. : (  Mr. Briggs is leaving, among the many other people. I will miss him. He is an awesome teacher...one of my favorites. I only had him for a semester, too. I was really looking forward to Pub with him next year. Unfortunately, school is not out yet, so I better go rest up for all my finals. (Yikes) Oh, state went well. I got a medal! I was so happy. Cross-country time now! How fun...more later, I promise!!!!! Love, Rachel

Alright, I think that is it...check out this quote...it will make you think...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate,
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond
measure.

We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented and fabulous?'

Actually, who are you NOT to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small doesn't serve the world.

We are born to make manifest the glory of God
that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we
unconsciously give
other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our
presence
automatically liberates others."

~Nelson Mandela

I better go learn some cat muscles! Love, Rachel
